What is the Purchase Process?
1. Where do you want to live?
Whether it’s your primary residence, second property, vacation home or investment property. Real estate is all about location, location, location. There are many tools available to potential home buyers in today’s market.
2. How much can you afford?
Prior to viewing homes, you need to get all your financial ducks in a row. Home Financial Group Mortgage Professionals will sit down with you and provide an accurate picture of what you can afford.
3. Finding a property right for you:
Finding the right REALTOR. This will save you time, money and peace of mind! REALTORS are industry professionals with broad Real Estate knowledge and will help you negotiate a better price for you when making an offer.
4. What are my best financing options?
Not every loan product is the same. Home Financial Group does not look at every client as just numbers on a report, when prequalifying them, we look at the person(s) as a whole and make decisions based on our client’s best interest.
5. Appraisal and Inspection
You’ve picked the perfect home and now you are probably wondering, what’s next? Well, just like when you are buying a car, you need to look under the hood! Home Financial Group will coordinate a professional appraisal and inspection to make sure you are getting a fair deal.
6. Entering the Home Stretch
You will be presented with a Closing Disclosure. This disclosure presents the detail of the cost of your home’s financing, any applicable loan conditions and the funds needed on closing day. Your Mortgage Professional will be happy to review it with you and make sense of it all.
7. Closing Day!
This is a special moment for not just the buyer but everyone involved making your dream come true! You will sign your loan documents and present the funds to cover your down payment and other costs.
“Welcome to the home owner club! Collect your keys to your home and celebrate!”
